SOUTH PLANTATION HIGH TAKES AUDIENCES ON A
MAGIC CARPET RIDE WITH DISNEY’S ALADDIN JR.

The internationally recognized theatre program at South Plantation High School took one more magical musical carpet ride of the 2009-2010 year, bringing Disney’s animated classic Aladdin to life. Families of all ages were invited to join Aladdin, Jasmine, the Genie and all the people of Agrabah as they took the Paladin Playhouse stage for one wild weekend in May.

SATURDAY, May 8th was DISNEY CHARACTER DAY! Audiences were encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Disney characters for a chance to win an autographed poster and a photo with the cast!

Dress As Your Favorite Disney Character Day!

In keeping with the Disney theme of South's production of Aladdin, Jr, the Paladin Player's held a "dress as your favorite Disney character" day. One would think that the audience would be filled with little children dressed as Snow White, Cinderella, and of course, Princess Jasmine.

What we didn't expect (but fully enjoyed) was FOTT's own Mari Aivazian, who arrived at the Paladin Playhouse dressed as HER favorite Disney character- Ms. Potts!

And this is why working with the FOTT is so wonderful. Thank you Mari for making the work of the FOTT not only rewarding, but fun.
