Oklahoma!

Based on the play "Green Grow The Lilacs" by Lynn Riggs, "Oklahoma!" was the first of a string of immensly popular broadway musicals by Rogers and Hammerstein and was presented by special arrangement with the Rodgers & Hammerstein Theatre Library as the 2006 Paladin Playhouse spring musical.

From the opening bars of "O, What A Beautiful Morning" to the ensemble's rousing closing with the title song, "Oklahoma!", these performances will forever be remembered by cast and audience members alike.

"Oklahoma!" was also the first SPHS production to utilize the talents of acclaimed choreograher Ron Hutchins- a successful collaboration that continues today. Mr. Hutchins' creative fingerprint can be clearly seen throughout the performance but most notably in the "Dream Sequence" that closes Act 1. We are proud to be able to present it here on video along with a number of other video clips from this performance of a timeless Broadway classic.
