South Plantation High School's Theater students are involved in more than just two broadway-quality performances per school year. From fundraising to workshops to community outreaches, Troupe 3383 is on the move and making news. This area of the website is where you can keep up on all the other activities that not only contribute to these students being great thespians and theatre technicians, but great people.
To borrow from an old Saturday Night Live skit, the Florida State Thespian Festival has been "berry, berry good" to our Paladin Players!
First, the entire production of "Alice in Wonderland" was successfully transported to Tampa and the performance very well received by a sold out house in Ferguson Hall at the David Straz (formerly Tampa Bay) Performing Arts Center.
Then, every event the troupe brought earned Superior ratings:
- Solo Musical- Rob Oda
- Solo Musical- Kellie Smith
- Small Group Musical- Kellie Smith, Monika Kluziak, Jason Rosen, Alvaro D'Amico, & Eustace Williams
- Pantomime- Giovanna Vazquez & Suany Hurlston
- Large Group Musical- The Cast of "Everybody Rejoice/Brand New Day" from The Wiz
- Plus - the one act play "The Blue Hour: City Sketches" received straight superiors in performance and tech!
Again, we are so proud of these young thespians and congratulate them all on their great achievements!
